Between other musical commitments the bands have been playing together since 1979, leading to the tight, raunchy and distinct sound they create both in the studio and at live gigs.

The Ian Campbell Band plays established classics and original material, primarily in the rock and blues idiom, with the occasional soulful ballad thrown in.

The Keith Allen Band plays an eclectic mix of established classics by such artists as Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Richard Thompson etc, plus various blues and original material.

Over the years, band members have played and recorded with the following artists:-   Manfred Mann, Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Thin Lizzy, Eric Clapton’s Band, Mungo Jerry, Nashville Teens, Fairport Convention, Hawkwind, Edwin Starr, Alexis Korner and Graham Parker’s Rumour.   This wealth of experience, combined with the band’s humour and enthusiasm guarantees a “good time” atmosphere at their gigs.

Both bands are ideal for weddings, functions, pubs and clubs.

Chevy '39 is a variation on the above, primarily for functions, weddings etc playing the same kind of material but with emphasis on the more danceable music by artists such as The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Chuck Berry etc.
