Jackie began playing the piano at the age of 7. She went from being a primary school music teacher to a
private piano and flute teacher whilst performing in the folk-rock band Double Exposure then playing her own
compositions in The Uncertainty Of Passion and Sardar Wind. Jackie discovered the delights of the accordion
whilst studying under Mario Conway at Cardiff College of Music and Drama. As well as writing and performing
her own music on the accordion Jackie has been playing tango and French café music with Paris Moon and
Tango Select for the past 15 years.
Sarah started as a classical double bass player in the Newbury Symphony Orchestra. For many years she played
folk music with the barn-dance band Sensible Shoes.
For the past 15 years Sarah has played double bass in Paris Moon with Jackie Doe on accordion creating
their own interpretation of French café music.
She is also a member of Tango Select, a four piece tango band with Jackie Doe, Keith Allen and
Piotr Jordan and has written music for both bands.
Sarah also plays piano and concertina. Once a year she takes part in a unique event where over 40 musicians from
all over the country meet to create a concertina orchestra which plays a variety of music from classical to rag-time.
She teaches Kodaly music in nursery schools as well as being a professional landscape and portrait painter.
Keith's musical career began as lead vocalist and harmonica player in
the blues/rock idiom. He has played with bands as diverse as Hawkwind and
Fairport Convention. He is currently lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist
with the Ian Campbell Band, playing blues/rock standards and originals.
In his own Keith Allen Band he performs songs by Bob Dylan, Richard
Thompson and Leonard Cohen, to name but a few. Keith has also played the drums with the Marty
Wilde Band and in more recent years, the King Earl Boogie Band.
As a complete contrast, Keith has played the guitar for Paris Moon and
Tango Select for the past 10 years.

Conservatory he moved to Prague.
He has lived and worked in England as a professional violinist since
1994 playing in numerous bands in a variety of styles ranging from Hot

techniques and been a model for orchestras in Leeds and New York.
Piotr's Balkan Gypsy Band Dunajska Kapelye plays regularly at the
Vortex Jazz Club in East London and was recently Time Out Magazine's critics'
choice describing them as "Extreme, virtuoso Balkan Gypsy jazz....."
