Tango Select features Jackie Doe on accordion, Sarah Luton on double bass, Keith Allen on guitar and Piotr Jordan on violin.

Tango stems from the docklands of Buenos Aires at the end of the 19th century. Whilst other music and dance fads have appeared throughout the 20th century, Tango has never disappeared. Established particularly by bandoneonist Astor Piazzolla it has continued to develop worldwide with many countries creating their own style.

Tango Select plays a range of Tangos, blending European influences with traditional flavours to create a memorable sound and style of its own.

An ideal accompaniment for dancing or as background music, Tango Select have played at a wide variety of venues including Christies in London, Womad and other music festivals, restaurants, weddings, anniversaries and other private functions countrywide.

For smaller venues (and budgets) Tango Select can perform as a duo or trio.
