Paris Moon
PictureArtwork by Frederic Pierre
The duo Paris Moon treated their audience to a restorative, relaxing and enjoyable 'mini-break' in Paris. We revelled in these evocative melodies. I occasionally shut my eyes and it was easy to imagine that I was sitting in a café in Monmartre. The time went all too quickly.
After the rapturous applause, a gentleman, grinning from ear to ear, said to me
"That was wonderful"

PictureJackie Doe, Keith Allen & Sarah Luton in Parisian Cafe setting
Picture the romantic image of an accordionist playing French Cafe Music in the streets of Paris together with the songs of the legendary Edith Piaf and you have the essence of Paris Moon.

Paris Moon's own delightful arrangements of waltzes, tangos and French Chansons are evocative of a by-gone era whilst capturing the timeless charm and romance of Paris. Paris Moon has played at venues in the UK and abroad, from Claridges, The Royal Academy of Art, Wellington Arch, Somerset House and Fulham Palace in London to Valentines Day in Beirut, as well as weddings, private parties, art centres, restaurants, French markets and craft fairs.

Paris Moon performs as a two, three, or four piece instrumental band depending on the venue size and budget, with the option of accordion, violin, guitar and double bass. A vocal option is also available as you can see on this You Tube link with Jackie Doe & Keith Allen performing with Gilly Tunley at the
 Wokingham Living Advent Calendar.

"You were all absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every minute of the music and everyone said it was the highlight of the evening. I'm just sorry I had to be polite and talk to guests, rather than just sitting back and listening! Many many thanks." Sarah Howard

"We wanted to say a big thanks for making it a very special evening." Clare and David

"One thing everybody has praised - the wonderful atmosphere that was created. And that was Paris Moon by candlelight. We never forgot how much of the success of the evening was due to you." Save The Children - Hungerford Committee

"Just wanted to say thank you again for playing at our wedding. I had a truly magical moment when I arrived with my son and daughter. The sun was shining, all was quiet apart from the sound of you two playing- it was a special moment that I shan’t forget." Angie.
